Team Extension/Senior Engineers
Add experienced engineers without taking on the risk of hiring them. Agile Labs takes responsibility for their performance, employment and replacement.
83% of Singapore employers struggle to find the skilled talent they need, rising to 88% in information technology.
Bring an Agile Labs engineer into the team faster, with the assurance of proven experience and engineering standards.
EngageRocket
Agile Labs engineers built the core of EngageRocket’s HR analytics platform from inside their team. The launch raised a US$3 million round, and the platform runs in 14 countries.

Changing engineers means losing context. Agile Labs manages continuity so knowledge stays with the engagement when people change.

We start with the work, not a CV. We agree what the engineer will own, the technical environment they are joining and what good performance should look like after 30, 60 and 90 days.
We propose engineers who match the work and explain how they were assessed. The client meets the engineer before signing and decides whether the fit is right.
The engineer joins the client’s repository, stand-ups, tools and delivery process. The first change should happen early, while deeper knowledge of the system builds over the first 30, 60 and 90 days.
The client directs the day-to-day work. Agile Labs remains responsible for performance. We check in regularly with both sides, investigate concerns and correct them or replace the engineer when necessary.
If an engineer leaves or becomes unavailable, Agile Labs manages the replacement and handover. Knowledge, access and documentation are transferred rather than leaving the client to restart the engagement.
Add another engineer, move to a Dedicated Team, reduce capacity, finish the engagement with a structured handover, or permanently hire the engineer through the agreed conversion path.
The terms for performance, replacement, ending or expanding an engagement are agreed from the start, not negotiated when something changes.
The client directs the day-to-day work, while Agile Labs remains responsible for the engineer’s performance. If there is a concern, our tech lead investigates, agrees what needs to change and follows through. If the fit cannot be corrected, we replace the engineer.
The first weeks are a fit window. If the arrangement is not working, either side can end it without penalty rather than forcing a poor fit to continue.
Agile Labs proposes a replacement, on a timeframe named in the engagement terms. There is no placement charge for the first replacement, and where possible the outgoing and incoming engineers overlap for handover.
After the minimum initial term, the engagement can be ended for convenience with thirty days’ notice. Billing remains monthly, based on the agreed time and materials arrangement.
Before an engineer leaves, documentation is brought up to date, access is removed and the knowledge behind the work is handed over. The handover happens during the notice period, not on the final day.
If more capacity is needed, another engineer can be added through the same process. If the requirement has grown beyond individual augmentation, we will recommend moving to a Dedicated Team instead.
Describe the gaps, and we will propose the engineers best suited to fill them.
